Three-Year-Olds

The boys had a blast checking out the new Hot Wheels exhibit at the Indianapolis Children's Museum.

Today I had to wake Collin from his nap.  He was nestled under the covers with his hand gripping his bear blanket.  I crept into the bed and rubbed his back.  He awoke with a smile.  I reflected on how much I love this stage.

I love it when my three-year-old:

-comes bounding down the stairs in the morning clad in his Batman pajamas with his arms outstretched.  He smiles when I pull him into a hug.

-curls up on my lap to listen to a book.

-runs with his little waddle.

-talks endlessly about Batman.

-gets excited about the little things.

-makes up stories about his stuffed animals.

-tries to mimic and hang out with his older brothers.

-giggles.

-says I love you.
